BACKGROUND FOR SHAMA - 

Due to Shama's mother developing a eye disease,

causing her to go blind and the loss of Shama's father's garden in the result 

of Hurricane Mathieu. Shama was then brought to Grace Children's Home

Haiti with her sisters Keisha and Fedna.
